University of Southern Queensland – Artsworx is an established and esteemed Queensland arts organisation delivering cultural experiences that inspire and enrich regional communities located in Toowoomba.
Brief
USQ – Artsworx is a dynamic and dedicated team, who produce an annual season of high quality, innovative, artistic and cultural experiences which showcase emerging artists from Toowoomba’s University of Southern Queensland (USQ) student cohort, as well as professional guest artists and a range of community and corporate stakeholders. They attract more than 20,000 people to the USQ campus, in South Toowoomba each year.
A new website was required to showcases their capabilities, a range of exciting progressive facilities and cultural experiences. This was to be achieved in a coherent and logical way. The transformation will not only upgrade USQ – Artsworx external look digitally, but their facilities and marketing campaigns. The website sets a president for additional work to follow.
As the USQ – Artsworx is a project with existing, upcoming and future requirements, careful planning of the website at all levels was required. The selected agency was expected to undertake an adequate discovery phase to clearly define the objectives, information architecture, content deliverables and user stories around which the project can be adequately planned, designed, developed and managed.
Deliverable
By refreshing USQ – Artsworx website and marketing campaigns, we wanted to inject more creative life into the organisation, and bring its design execution to a more modern day approach. By doing this, it would increase the appeal across all demographics, in particular the younger demographic.
Design
In-depth research and exploration in order to craft a unique online user experience showcasing the offerings at USQ-Artsworx. This craft rolled out into a number of marketing material items which showcased their facilities and cultural experiences.
Digital
Custom built online digital solution that is responsive and adaptive to all user groups and demographics.

Artsworx is a platform that inspires and enriches regional communities by opening a channel for creative individuals. Not only is it a location to showcase talent, it is a community that loves to educate and teach people of all kinds of passions.
